Wandering Warhol is the brainchild of artist Jenalee Tirpak. After quitting her job teaching high school math, she followed her passion of bringing art to everyone...literally.
We currently serve our local Middle Tennessee community by offering art classes to artists of all ages. Follow @wanderingwarhol_artstudio on Instagram to see where we might be wandering today.
Wondering Warhol Art Studio is a gallery/painting studio/creative club all wrapped up in a 1961 Shasta Airflyte Compact camper named Dolly. Dolly is currently undergoing a facelift to get ready to hit the road.
Jenalee attended Sewanee: The University of the South where she majored in Art History. She later obtained her Masters degree from the University of Oklahoma in Museum Studies.
She worked in galleries and with artists around the Tulsa, Oklahoma area for 3 years before starting her teaching career.
When the Covid-19 pandemic swept the United States, Jenalee decided to quit her job as a math teacher to stay home with her 3 daughters. She began painting and drawing again in an attempt to stave off boredom. One thing let to another and Wondering Warhol was born.
